GoDaddy Promo Code Bait-n-Switch Technique
I’m writing this from my experience few years ago. This is a simple technique any newbie can start implementing right away. LOOK, I share great information on my blog but it is up to you to take action. I bet 98% of you will read “how to make money online” get all excited about learning something new but you are not going to do anything about it. You’re just not hungry enough…
GoDaddy Promo Codes:
You know where to buy domain names right? GoDaddy.com, Namecheap.com, Network Solutions, 1and1 and plenty of others. You want to buy domains cheapest you can find, $5.95 each, $7-$8, or $1 .info domains? People are looking for GoDaddy Promo codes to save them $1, 10%, or even 15% off on bulk orders. Sure you can become a reseller to cut down on the cost of the domain names but average person don’t want to get involved with all that. They just want to buy a cheap domain name for $6-$7, $8; it is only going up like stamp prices. lol
I usually hold off and buy 5 at a time since GoDaddy will give you “private registration” offer with it. It used to be buy 3 then get all of them private but they have caught on to so many discount schemes ![]()
When I’m in a hurry to promote a hot program, I’ll buy a single domain name from Namecheap. They give you “private registration” with your domain purchase for free. NO more $8.88 per domain at Namecheap
but use October’s promo code “Rocktober” to get $1 off.
We know all this; people are searching for GoDaddy and Namecheap promo codes. You can find GoDaddy/Namecheap promo code at Digitalpoint forum and Namepros forum (just about every webmaster forum).
I use these forums all the time whenever I’m looking for promo codes. Heck yeah, it’s only $1 off or 5% off or whatever but if you know this information why not use it right? If you knew there was a coupon to get $10 off to get some gas for you car? Would you use it ?
Where and How?:
GoDaddy is well known and just about everyone buy domain names from them. Tons of people all over the world searching for “GoDaddy Promo” code: HASH3, OYH3 and plenty of others.
This information is GOLD! You are going to make a nice sales write up like this.
GoDaddy Domain Buying Promo Codes. Buy Updated List Every Week! No need for you to go out try to find them. I’ll do this for you and keep you updated every week with latest promo codes. Pay one time fee of $2.95. You’ll be able to save far more than that with my discount code updates.
Who in the world would buy this? No one will buy this information for $2.95? Total BS right? Yeah you would sell jack shit if you try to sell a report like this at a webmaster forum. People there already know this kind of info and you probably get laughed at.
Think for a minute or two.

…… Try eBay? There are tons of people selling all sorts of stuff on eBay. There is a section for “Domains”
I’m not going to go in details how to sell things on eBay right now. But you need to write a short sales letter saying you are going to sell GoDaddy promo code updates info for $2.95, $1.95, or $0.99
I’d keep it at $2.95 but you can lower it if you want. I used $2.95 price to cover my eBay expenses and if people are serious enough about your offer, they will pay $2.95. By lowering it to $1.95 you will get a few more customers. You can even auto post duplicate auction listings so you get more attention.
Okay this isn’t anything new right? It’s too tedious selling report for $2.95? How many will you have to sell to make $100 profit? You and I both don’t want to waste our time trying to sell a measly report.
- GoDaddy Promo Codes Update List = BAIT
Bait and Switch:
You are selling an email update to your customers with updated GoDaddy promo codes. Send them weekly or biweekly updates whenever you find new codes. GoDaddy and Namecheap send out an email once a month. Check DP thread for people sharing new codes to get discounts.
There are millions of people looking on eBay and tons of “newbie” people never knew there is a promo/coupon code to buying domains so they will buy this report from you.
I lined up 10 auctions to set out at once so it shows up all together to get peoples’ attention.
GoDaddy Domain Name Promo Codes. Buy Updated List Every Week!
Wrote a short paragraph with few photos to telling people what they will get exactly from my weekly report.
1. In about two months running at this, I’ve collected about 300 customer’s email addresses. When someone bought this report, I sent them a short email with few promo codes then told them that I was going to keep to my promise and send them regular promo code updates. DONE!
2. I’ve used these customers email addresses to cross promote with different offers like: Webhosting services and referring them to domain parking services with my affiliate link.
What to do with these email addresses:
Do not spam them with too many offers, treat them like they are your best friend and only send them BEST stuff you have to offer. They bought into your GoDaddy promo code updates so likely they are going to read your future emails if and only if they contain great information related to “Domain Industry”
Example Emails I’ve sent (I can’t remember word for word but something like this)

Hi John,
GoDaddy promo codes here: <insert GoDaddy promo codes you found that week>
By the way, how many domains do you own? Are you planning to do anything with it? You heard about Sedo domain parking right? Well I never had any success with making money with them so I switched to DomainHop.com you get paid by clicks and IMPRESSIONS from your parked pages. You should check them out.
Thanks, George Kim

Payout:Your bait is $2.95 or $1.95 report. You are not going to make any from that.
Swith them with Hosting recommendations that pays $80 - $100 signups. I’ve included these affiliate links in my weekly promo emails.
HostGator payout $100, BlueHost payout $90, HostMonster $90. This is where the money is! You bait and switch to get them to signup for something else. PLUS! Did you see that I recommended domain parking sites? You can recommend to any domain parking sites that offers referral payout. I’ve used DomainHop because they do pay by the impressions well as clicks and… I attached a $50 payout check pic in the email I sent out so it was more believable.
Webhosting’s $80 - $100 payout is well worth to try this method. I was making $1000-$1500 in a month. That’s approximately 15 signups. If they don’t sign up, PUSH PUSH PUSH… continue to send them emails with only your best recommendations.
Conclusion:
You have gained customers from eBay who were interested in your GoDaddy promo updates. You are using these email addresses you have collected to send them different offers, with your affiliate links in them!
1. You can duplicate my method or make it advanced using autoresponders (Aweber, Getresponse).
2. Instead of sending them email with affiliate link, you can create a landing page/blog with affiliate links and banners. Then send these people to your site. Hosting related adsense ads are higher paying than most so you can recoupe some money.
3. Bring down the selling price from $2.95 to $1.95 or even lower to get more people interested in buying your services. Don’t drop prices to $0.01. That’s pretty much useless since there are people who are only looking for Feedback rating. Keeping it $2.95 or $1.95 so you don’t lose money on eBay fees.
4. Take this technique, implement with your own idea to make a better system out of it. Just pay attention to what type of promotions/codes these hosting companies are offering. Some companies offer specials like 3 months free or get 3 domains free when you buy hosting with them. Include stuff like this in the email with your affiliate link.
5. Please don’t limit yourself thinking this is the ONLY way to make money. There are hundreds and thousands of ways to make money online. Find a product or service that people want and searching for on eBay. Hundreds and thousands of information there. So don’t limit yourself with just GoDaddy Promo codes. If you already have an ebook? marketing strategy? services you can offer? Put together an auction page, list them on eBay!
I’ve moved on to better and easier system : )
Good Luck and Get Motivated!

this article was a steaming pile of bovine feces… the runny kind.
It was itself bait & switch: promising to provide useful information but only delivering the kind of stuff hillama spews
