First winter storm hitting here today in Chicago. Already few inches of snow in just an hour. However, I like to point out that SES, Search Engine Strategies is coming to Chicago next week (December 3-7). I went to SES last year at Hilton Hotel downtown, same location as this years. Last year SES Chicago was was my first event related to webmaster/search engine/affiliate marketing. I didn’t go to any training classes but I did get to browse the expo area and listen in on few guest speakers.

I haven’t signed up this year but I would really like to sit and listen to one of the key note speakers, Seth Godin. I think this is one session I feel I would gain some knowledge. Then rest would be browsing around the expo which only costs $25 or free if registered in advance. However, this is only open to business professionals and bring your business cards. You can drop your business cards to win cool prizes.

I remember going through Pay Per Post booth last year when they were hitting the internet. Well as talking to tons of analytics companies. I did saw a Chinese search engine company but no one was interested talking to them.

At least I’ll go and browse the expo Tuesday or Wednesday if the weather cooperates.
